Who we are
Photon Stores (https://www.photonstores.com) provides a service for building and running online stores. For your account data we decide how it is used. For your shoppers' data, your store decides and we process it on your behalf.
What we collect
- Account details: your name, email, and a hashed password
- Your store's content: products, words, pictures and settings
- Your shoppers' orders, addresses and accounts, held for your store
- Usage of our site and service, counted without advertising cookies
- Messages you send us
Why we use it
- To build, host and run your store
- To keep accounts secure and prevent abuse
- To answer your questions and send service emails
- To improve Photon Stores
We do not sell personal data.
Who we share it with
Only with the providers we need to run the service: hosting, databases, email delivery, payment providers and AI model providers that generate your store's content. Each handles data under its own agreement with us.
How long we keep it
We keep your data while your account is open. A closed store is deleted 30 days after closing. Some records, such as invoices, are kept as long as the law requires.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete your personal data, or withdraw consent, under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act and, where it applies, the GDPR. See our data deletion page or write to us.
Security
Every store has its own database. Passwords are hashed. Card details are handled by the payment provider and never reach our servers. Two-step sign-in is available on every account.
